Taxonomy
Limnobia jaccardi was named by Heer (1864). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Locle, which is in a Sarmatian lacustrine - large limestone in Switzerland.
It was recombined as Trichocera jaccardi by Edwards (1928); it was recombined as Diazosma jaccardi by Gentilini (1986); it was recombined as Cladoneura jaccardi by Krzemińska et al. (2009).
