Taxonomy
Pseudoceltites (Saikhanites) khenteyensis was named by Zakharov and Ehiro (2006). Its type specimen is IGPS 109651, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mount Saikhan Undur Ovoo, bed 9, which is in a Smithian marine mudstone in Mongolia. It is the type species of Pseudoceltites (Saikhanites).
