Taxonomy
Ochrotrichia doehleri was named by Wichard (1981). Its type specimen is SMNS Do-5703, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber (SMNS coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.
It was recombined as Ochrotrichia (Ochrotrichia) doehleri by Wells and Wichard (1989).
