Gutturensis neilsoni

Taxonomy
Cladodus neilsoni was named by Traquair (1898). Its type specimen is NMS 1911.62.521 (anterior skeleton of a chondrichthyan, comprising partial neurocranium, visceral arches,) and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is East Kilbride, which is in a Pendleian carbonate limestone in the Manse Burn Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Gutturensis.

It was recombined as Gutturensis neilsoni by Sequeira and Coates (2000).
