Taxonomy
Chrysopa glaesaria was named by Engel and Grimaldi (2007). Its type specimen is MACT-1221, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber (Morone Amber Collection), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.
