Controversala miomopteroides
Taxonomy
Controversala miomopteroides was named by Brauckmann and Herd (2005). It is an impression. Its type locality is Piesberg quarry, "Flöz Zweibänke" (IGP TU Clausthal coll), which is in a Westphalian C/Westphalian D lacustrine deltaic claystone in the Flöz Zweibänke Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Controversala.
