Taxonomy
Trichosia (Palaeotrichosia) voelsgeni was named by Röschmann and Mohrig (1995). Its type specimen is VOE 156, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Bitterfeld amber (Volsgen collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Germany.
