Liaochelys jianchangensis
Taxonomy
Liaochelys jianchangensis was named by Zhou (2010). Its type specimen is PMOL-AR00160, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Xiao-tai-zi, La-ma-dong, Jianchang, which is in an Aptian lacustrine siltstone in the Jiufotang Formation of China. It is the type species of Liaochelys.
