Taxonomy
Pearylandites peregrinus was named by Tozer (1994). Its type specimen is GSC 28462 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 74740, Chischa River, which is in an Aegean/Bithynian marine siliciclastic in the Toad Formation of Canada.
