It was corrected as Acanthosomatidae by Fujiyama (1987), Wappler (2003), Szwedo (2018), Wu et al. (2018).

It was assigned to Heteroptera by Wappler (2003); and to Pentatomoidea by Fujiyama (1987), Szwedo (2018), Wu et al. (2018).
