Amarodes pseudozabrus
Taxonomy
Amara pseudozabrus was named by Deichmüller (1886). Its type specimen is BSPG 1961 I 321, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Eichstätt, Solnhofen (SNSD Dresden collection), which is in a Tithonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Solnhofen Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Amarodes.
It was recombined as Amarodes pseudozabrus by Handlirsch (1906), Ponomarenko (1971).
