Blattidium molossus
Taxonomy
Blattidium molossus was named by Westwood (1854). It is an impression. Its type locality is Durlston Bay, Middle Purbeck, Swanage (Brodie collection), which is in a Berriasian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Durlston Formation of the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Nethania molossus by Giebel (1856); it was recombined as Elisama molossus by Scudder (1886).
