Phenacolophus fallax
Taxonomy
Phenacolophus fallax was named by Matthew and Granger (1925). Its type specimen is AMNH 20411, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gashato (AMNH), which is in a Paleocene terrestrial horizon in the Khashat Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Phenacolophus.
