Taxonomy
Rhynchonella dunrobinensis was named by Rollier (1917). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is North-east of Dunrobin Castle, which is in an Oxynotum marine horizon in the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Tetrarhynchia dunrobinensis by Ager (1956), Ager and Westermann (1963), Ager (1967), Alméras and Fauré (2000), Alméras and Fauré (2007) and Paredes et al. (2013).
