Taxonomy
Parafusulina potterensis was named by Skinner and Wilde (1965). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is C-3, Potter Ridge (Stanford no. 759), Klamath Mountains, which is in a Roadian carbonate limestone in the Nosoni Formation of California.
