Mioidionyx stavropolensis
Taxonomy
Mioidionyx stavropolensis was named by Nel et al. (2005). Its type specimen is PIN 224/130, a hindwing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Vishnevaya Balka creek, which is in a Miocene lacustrine shale in the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Mioidionyx.
