It was corrected as Alysioidae by Förster (1862); it was corrected as Alysiidae by Brues (1910); it was reranked as the subfamily Alysiinae by Statz (1936), Statz (1938), Clapham (2023).

It was assigned to Hymenoptera by Förster (1862), Brues (1910); and to Braconidae by Statz (1936), Statz (1938), Clapham (2023).
