Pseudopolyernus laminarum
Taxonomy
Polyernus laminarum was named by Scudder (1885). Its type specimen is USNM 38155, a wing (four overlapping wings), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Campbells Ledge, near Pittston, which is in a Westphalian D terrestrial shale in the Llewellyn Formation of Pennsylvania.
It was recombined as Pseudopolyernus laminarum by Handlirsch (1906), Handlirsch (1906), Handlirsch (1922), Durden (1984).
