Shurania sibirica
Taxonomy
Shurania sibirica was named by Popov (1985). Its type specimen is PIN 2245/273, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Lyagush'ye, PIN collection 2245 (trench 82), Chernyy Etap 1, which is in a Pliensbachian terrestrial horizon in the Abasheva Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Shurania.
