Taxonomy
Nangaoia (Gedongaspis) granulosa was named by Yuan et al. (1997). It is not extant. Its type locality is Balang, 10-3, which is in a Taijangian slope mudstone in the Kaili Formation of China.
It was recombined as Gedongaspis granulosa by Jell and Adrain (2002).
