Taxonomy
Pseudophana reticulata was named by Germar and Berendt (1856). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, Berendt collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Poland.
It was recombined as Cixidia reticulata by Szwedo et al. (2004); it was recombined as Protepiptera reticulata by Emeljanov and Shcherbakov (2011), Brysz and Szwedo (2018).
