Caririlabia santanensis
Taxonomy
Cordulagomphus santanensis was named by Carle and Wighton (1990). Its type specimen is AMNH 43258, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Crato (AMNH collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Lapsoderma.
It was recombined as Lapsoderma santanensis by Martins-Neto (2001); it was considered a nomen dubium by Nel and Paicheler (1994), Bechly (1998); it was recombined as Caririlabia santanensis by Engel and Chatzimanolis (2005).
