Taxonomy
Ocelloblattula ponomarenkoi was named by Anisyutkin and Gorochov (2008). Its type specimen is 845A, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Lebanese amber, Mdeyrij-Hammana (LU collection), which is in a Barremian terrestrial amber in Lebanon.
