Paracicadopsis mendezalzolai
Taxonomy
Paracicadopsis mendezalzolai was named by Pinto and Piñeiro (2000). Its type specimen is FC-DPI 3283, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Estancia "El Barón", which is in an Artinskian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal shale in the Mangrullo Formation of Uruguay. It is the type species of Paracicadopsis.
