Taxonomy

Psocidus multiplex was named by Roesler (1943).

Synonyms

Psocus affinis was named by Pictet and Hagen (1856). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, Berendt collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Poland.

It was recombined as Copostigma affinis by Enderlein (1911); it was replaced with Psocus multiplex by Roesler (1943); it was replaced with Psocidus multiplex by Engel and Perkovsky (2006).
