Spalacotherium hookeri
Taxonomy
Spalacotherium hookeri was named by Gill (2004). Its type specimen is BMNH 44970, a mandible (partial left dentary with distal five molars), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Durlston Bay (DB96), which is in a Berriasian terrestrial shale in the Lulworth Formation of the United Kingdom.
