Kiyatherium cardiodens
Taxonomy
Kiyatherium cardiodens was named by Maschenko and Lopatin (2002). Its type specimen is PM TGU no. 16/2-50, a maxilla (fragmentary left maxilla with the canine, P1–P5, and M1–M3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shestakovo-3, which is in a Barremian/Aptian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone/siltstone in the Ilek Formation of the Russian Federation.
