Taxonomy
Hoploridium dollingi was named by Popov and Shcherbakov (1991). Its type specimen is PIN 1989/3555, an exoskeleton (female), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Baissa (PIN collection 1989, layer 31), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large siltstone/marl in the Zaza Formation of the Russian Federation.
