Cretobestiola subpetiolata
Taxonomy
Bestiola subpetiolata was named by Pulawski and Rasnitsyn (1999). Its type specimen is PIN 3559/4529, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bon Tsagaan (PIN collection 3559, outcrop 87/8), which is in an Aptian lacustrine siliciclastic in the Dzun-Bain Formation of Mongolia.
It was recombined as Cretobestiola subpetiolata by Pulawski and Rasnitsyn (2000).
