Taxonomy
Microblattina perdita was named by Scudder (1895). Its type specimen is Coll Lacoe 2092 a, a tegmen (fragment), and it is an impression. Its type locality is East Providence, which is in a Westphalian C/Westphalian D terrestrial siliciclastic in Rhode Island.
