Eoalligator chunyii
Taxonomy
Eoalligator chunyii was named by Young (1964). Its type specimen is IVPP V.2716, a partial skull (Partial skull and lower jaws), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 210 highway, Nanhsiung (field no. 6218), which is in a Tiffanian terrestrial horizon in the Nongshan Formation of China. It is the type species of Eoalligator.
It was synonymized subjectively with Asiatosuchus nanlingensis by Martin et al. (2014), Wang et al. (2016).
