It was synonymized subjectively with Omalia by Pruvost (1930), Brauckmann et al. (2001).

It was assigned to Coseliidae by Bolton (1922); to Omaliidae by Carpenter (1992); and to Archaeorthoptera by Béthoux and Nel (2005).
