Stilbocrocis heeri
Taxonomy
Termes heeri was named by Goldenberg (1854). Its type specimen is Naturhist Ver. Bonn, 14(39), a wing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Altenwald mine, which is in a Westphalian C terrestrial shale/bituminous coal in the Lower Saarbrucker layer Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Calotermes heeri by Hagen (1858); it was recombined as Goldenbergia heeri by Scudder (1885); it was considered a nomen nudum by Goldenberg (1852); it was recombined as Stilbocrocis heeri by Handlirsch (1906), von Schlechtendal (1913), Handlirsch (1919), Handlirsch (1922), Waterlot (1934), Guthörl (1934).
