Murtoilestes abramovi
Taxonomy
Prokennalestes abramovi was named by Averianov and Skutschas (2000). Its type specimen is ZIN 34834, a tooth (left M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mogoito, Promoina Klevenskogo, which is in a Valanginian terrestrial sandstone in the Murtoi Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Murtoilestes abramovi by Nessov (1985), Averianov and Skutschas (2001), Kielan-Jaworowska et al. (2004).
