Hypocimex membranaceus
Taxonomy
Hypocimex membranaceus was named by Handlirsch (1939). Its type specimen is Ernst Moritz Arndt Universitat Greifswald 57/14, a tegmen, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Dobbertin, Mecklenburg (Greifswald collection), which is in a Toarcian offshore claystone in Germany. It is the type species of Hypocimex.
