Gulou carpenteri
Taxonomy
Gulou carpenteri was named by Béthoux et al. (2011). Its type specimen is CNU-NX1-143, an exoskeleton (wings, thorax, head but missing abdomen), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Xiaheyan, Zhongwei County (CNU coll), which is in a Westphalian B/Westphalian C interdistributary bay siliciclastic in the Yanghugou Formation of China. It is the type species of Gulou.
