Purbepsychopsis parallela
Taxonomy
Purbepsychopsis parallela was named by Jepson et al. (2012). Its type specimen is CAMSM J.58307, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Durlston Bay, Soft Cockle Beds, Swanage (Sedgwick Museum collection), which is in a Berriasian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Lulworth Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Purbepsychopsis.
