Taxonomy
Palaeocoris spectabilis was named by Heer (1853). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Radoboj (Grätz Collection), which is in a Sarmatian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in Croatia. It is the type species of Palaeocoris.
