Cicadatra serresi

Taxonomy
Cicada serresi was named by Meunier (1915). Its type specimen is Coll Inst. Geol. Lyon fig 8, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Aix-en-Provence (Inst. Geol. Lyon), which is in a Chattian lacustrine - large limestone in the Niveau du gypse d'Aix Formation of France.

It was recombined as Cicadatra serresi by Theobald (1937), Piton and Théobald (1939), Moulds (2018).
