Taxonomy
Permochorista belli was named by Tillyard (1926). It is an impression. Its type locality is Warner's Bay, Belmont (Pincombe 1925 coll), which is in a Changhsingian pond chert in the Croudace Bay Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Prochoristella belli by Riek (1953), Willmann (1978), Novokshonov (1997).
