Taxonomy
Nabis was named by Latreille (1802). It is extant. It is the type genus of Nabidae, Nabini, Nabinae.

It was assigned to Cimicides by Latreille (1802); to Reduviidae by Theobald (1937); and to Nabini by Swanson and Heads (2020).
