Sphaeropsocites lebanensis
Taxonomy
Sphaeropsocites lebanensis was named by Grimaldi and Engel (2006). Its type specimen is AMNH JS284, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Lebanese amber, Jezzine (AMNH collection), which is in a Barremian terrestrial amber in Lebanon. It is the type species of Sphaeropsocites.
