Lithoptilus boulei
Taxonomy
Archaeoptilus boulei was named by Meunier (1908). It is an impression. Its type locality is Commentry (MNHN later coll), which is in a Gzhelian lacustrine deltaic shale in the Commentry Shales Formation of France.
It was recombined as Anaxion boulei by Handlirsch (1919); it was recombined as Lithoptilus boulei by Lameere (1917), Handlirsch (1922), Kukalová (1969).
