Taxonomy
Parabolina was named by Salter (1849) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Fran-l O Trem-l Sepkoski's reference number: 81]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Oleninae by Harrington and Leanza (1957), Robison and Pantoja-Alor (1968); to Olenidae by Jell and Adrain (2002); and to Ptychopariida by Sepkoski (2002).
