Taxonomy
Micragnostus quadratiformis was named by Ergaliev and Ergaliev (2008). It is not extant. Its type locality is Kyrshabakty River, 1401-8, which is in a Batyrbaian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Bestogai Formation of Kazakhstan.
