Taxonomy
Eopsychops sojanensis was named by Martynov (1932). Its type specimen is PIN 2455/184, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Soyana (PIN collection 2455), which is in a Roadian lagoonal sandstone in the Iva-Gora Beds Formation of the Russian Federation.
