Protobittacus maculatus
Taxonomy
Protobittacus maculatus was named by Tillyard (1933). Its type specimen is BMNH I 10550, a forewing (forewing fragment), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Strensham, Worcestershire, which is in a Rhaetian marine horizon in the Lilstock Formation of the United Kingdom.
