Acadoparadoxides was named by Green (1834) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm lMid Cm uMid-l Sepkoski's reference number: 378]. It is not extant.

It was reranked as Paradoxides (Acadoparadoxides) by Geyer and Landing (2004); it was misspelled as Paradoxides (Accadoparadoxides) by Smith and Zamora (2013), Nowicki and Żylinska (2019).

It was assigned to Redlichiida by Sepkoski (2002); to Paradoxides by Geyer and Landing (2004), Smith and Zamora (2013); and to Paradoxididae by Whittington et al. (1997), Nowicki and Żylinska (2019).
