Taxonomy
Uskatocoleus longus was named by Rohdendorf (1961). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is PIN 673/392, an elytra, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Sokolova II (PIN collection 673), which is in a Wuchiapingian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Gramoteinskaya Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Metrorhynchites longus by Ponomarenko (2011).
