Candidodon itapecuruense
Taxonomy
Candidodon itapecuruense was named by Carvalho and Campos (1988). Its type specimen is MN 4154-V, a tooth (Molar tooth), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is BR-222 bridge, Itapecuru-Mirim, which is in an Aptian fluvial siltstone in the Itapecuru Formation of Brazil.
